The Crackup Sisters are bright, energetic and ridiculously witty.

They bring to the stage a mixed-bag of comedy, whipcracking and acrobatics and tell the stories of the Australian country and it’s larrikin characters.

Art Show
The Oberon Show 2017 Senior Art Show Program has been completed and prize money has increased substantially!
Entry fees are $2 per work.
Total prize money is $850, with $100 first place, $40 second place, and $20 third place for the first four classes.
There is a special class for the “Best Automotive Work” of $100 for Art, Digital and Photoshop works.
There is also a Best Work in Show award of $100.
Classes to enter any medium works into are Still life or floral, Landscape, Figurative, Drawing, any subject and Automotive Theme, any medium including digital and Photoshop works.

Miss Showgirl Competition
Winner to be announced on Saturday 11th February, and the Winner will be present at the Show.
The Miss Showgirl dinner will be held at the Oberon RSL Club at 7.00pm
Tickets are $30 per person which includes a 3 course Chinese Banquet Dinner.

Whip Cracking and Making
Anthony Rennick will be demonstrating and running a competition. For the past 5 years Anthony has spent 4-5 weeks demonstrating at the Australian Stockmans Hall of Fame in Longreach. He has been competing in the Australian Whipcrackers and Plaiters Association competitions for the past 15 years. An Accredited Judge, he has been invited to judge the Freestyle section of the Man From Snowy River Stockmans Challenge for the past three years. Anthony is the 2015 AWPA Champion at Accuracy, which he won at the 2015 Australian Whipcracking Championships held at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
